Vincent Queralt Lloret (born November 16 or 17, 1894, in Barcelona; died November 30, 1936, in Valencia) was a Spanish priest of the Congregation of the Mission, a martyr, a victim of the Spanish Civil War of 1936–1939, and a blessed of the Catholic Church. Vincent Queralt Lloret was born on November 16 or 17, 1894, in Barcelona. As a priest, he was known for his excellent sermons, and he had a passion for music and writing poetry. In 1911, he joined the Congregation of the Mission. He completed the first two years of his ecclesiastical studies in Dax, France, and the remainder at the seminary in Barcelona. On November 30, 1936, during the outbreak of the Civil War, he was arrested and executed by firing squad after leftist police discovered he was a clergyman. On December 1, 2016, Pope Francis promulgated the decree on his martyrdom. On November 11, 2017, he was beatified in Barcelona alongside 20 other martyrs and 39 companions by Cardinal Angelo Amato.
