Biography

Władysław Goral, born on May 1, 1898, in Stoczek and died in February 1945 in Oranienburg, was a Polish Catholic prelate, auxiliary bishop of Lublin, and titular bishop of Meloë in Isauria from 1938 to 1945. Having died at the Oranienburg-Sachsenhausen concentration camp, he is one of the 108 Polish Martyrs of World War II, beatified in 1999 by Pope John Paul II.
