Biography

Vicente Pelufo Corts (born February 26, 1868; died September 11, 1936) was a Spanish blessed of the Catholic Church. He studied at the seminary in Orihuela and was ordained a priest in 1894. He served as pastor of the parish of Saint Vincent in San Vicente del Raspeig. In 1904, he moved to his hometown. He was killed during the Spanish Civil War. He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on March 11, 2001, as part of the group of José Aparicio Sanz and 232 companions.
