Saint Simplice de Rome

Simplicius of Rome was a martyr of the year 303, considered a saint by the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. The etymology of his name comes from the Latin simplex, meaning simple. He was the brother of Saint Faustinus and Saint Beatrice (or Beatrix or Viatrix). He is celebrated on July 29 along with his siblings and a man named Rufus.
