Severus of Agde (Syria, 5th century – Agde, Hérault, c. 500) was a religious figure from Agde and abbot of the Monastery of Saint Andrew. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. Little is known about his life. It appears he was a Syrian prince who arrived in Agde around 456. He served as abbot of the Monastery of Saint Andrew and died there toward the end of the 5th century. Maxentius of Agde was his disciple. He founded the Church of Saint Severus in Agde.
