Biography
Saint Clementina is the name of several Catholic saints. One Saint Clementina was a follower of Saint Peter who lived in Rome in the first century. According to other sources, Saint Clementina was a virgin martyr who lived in the third or fourth century. Her body was discovered in April 1751 in Rome, in the Catacombs of Saint Cyriacus, which were attached to the Basilica of Saint Lawrence. The saint's relics are currently located in Albi. Another Saint Clementina is considered one of the eleven thousand virgins who accompanied Saint Ursula. Relics of this Saint Clementina were kept at the Gross-Nazareth Augustinian convent in Cologne. Relics of other saints named Clementina are also located in Brno, Castelguidone, and Fermo. She is considered the patron saint of Castelguidone, as well as of young women who have been betrayed by their lovers.
