Biography
Flavitus (6th century – c. 618) was a Frankish religious figure who lived as a hermit. He is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church, which celebrates his feast day on December 18. His cult is particularly widespread in Marcilly-le-Hayer and Villemaur-sur-Vanne, where he is also known as Saint-Flavy.
