Biography
Saint Sabina of Troyes was a 3rd-century Christian virgin. She was of Greek origin and the sister of Saint Sabinian of Troyes. She was baptized by the Roman priest Eusebius, who later became pope. Because her parents were pagans, she traveled to Gaul to join her brother. As she approached the city of Troyes, she learned of her brother's death and began to pray that she might soon be with him in heaven. According to tradition, she died immediately after her prayer. She died in 276. Her feast day is celebrated on August 29.
