Biography

Saint Clerus of Antioch (died c. 310), also known as Bilicerius, Licerius, Lycerius, or Lucerius, was a Christian deacon who suffered martyrdom in Antioch during the first decade of the 4th century. He was cruelly tortured seven times to force him to renounce his faith, then imprisoned for a long period, and finally beheaded. His feast day is celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church on January 7.
