Saint Ruf de Tortosa

Rufus of Tortosa is a legendary saint, a disciple of Saint Paul of Tarsus and the first bishop of Tortosa in the first century. In reality, he did not exist; he is a duplicated figure originating from Saint Rufus of Avignon, combined with elements from the history of Rufus of Rome, a person mentioned by Saint Paul the Apostle. He is the patron saint of Tortosa.
