Biography

Regiswindis, also known as Reginswind, Reginswindis, or Rensin (born c. 832 in Lauffen am Neckar; died c. 839 in the same place at the age of seven), is a local saint in Lauffen am Neckar. According to legend, she was the daughter of a count who was murdered there; she has been venerated as a saint since the 13th century. Beyond Lauffen, churches are also dedicated to her in other locations.
