Biography

Piamun (who lived in the 4th century) was an Egyptian virgin who practiced the monastic life without leaving her mother's house. She fasted every day until evening and was granted the gift of prophecy. Through her prayers, she reconciled two villages. Her story was recorded by Palladius.
