Peter Đa (Vietnamese: Phêrô Đa) (born c. 1802 in Ngọc Cục, Nam Định Province, Vietnam – died June 17, 1862, in Nam Định, Vietnam) was a catechist, martyr, and saint of the Catholic Church. Peter Đa was born around 1802 in Ngọc Cục, Nam Định Province. His father was Catholic, while his mother was not a Christian. Peter Đa was baptized as a child. He was married and served as a catechist. He was imprisoned during a period of persecution when he was approximately 60 years old. He spent about a year in prison, where he was subjected to torture. He was executed on June 17, 1862. His feast day is November 24, as part of the group of 117 Vietnamese Martyrs. He was beatified on April 29, 1951, by Pius XII and canonized by John Paul II on June 19, 1988, among the 117 Vietnamese Martyrs.
