Peter Khan (Vietnamese: Phêrô Khan) (born c. 1780 in Hòa Huệ, Nghệ An Province, Vietnam – died July 12, 1842, in Hà Tĩnh, Vietnam) was a priest, martyr, and saint of the Catholic Church. Peter Khan was born in the village of Nguyên Kiệt in Nghệ An Province. In his youth, his parents placed him in a rectory to train as a catechist. At the age of 25, he began studying Latin. He was ordained a priest in 1819 and served in many locations. He was arrested at the end of January 1841 and was beheaded on July 12, 1842, in Hà Tĩnh. His feast day is November 24, as part of the group of the 117 Vietnamese Martyrs. He was beatified on May 2, 1909, by Pope Pius X and canonized by Pope John Paul II on June 19, 1988, as one of the 117 Vietnamese Martyrs.
