Biography
Saint Nicholas of Pskov was a fool for Christ. He lived for thirty-five years as a beggar on the streets of Pskov. Summer and winter, he was naked or nearly naked and feigned madness to attract the contempt of men. He fell asleep in peace in 1576. He is commemorated on February 28 by the Orthodox Church.
