Blessed Nicéforo de Jesús y María

Vicente Díez Tejerina (Herreruela de Castillería, February 17, 1893 – Manzanares, July 23, 1936), better known by his religious name Nicéforo de Jesús y María, was a Catholic Passionist priest who was executed by firing squad in 1936 during the religious persecution that broke out in Spain during the Civil War. He is venerated as a blessed and martyr in the Catholic Church.
