Biography
Montanus of Carthage (died 259) was a Christian martyr and a disciple of Cyprian of Carthage who died during the persecution of Valerian. He is a Christian saint commemorated, along with Saint Lucius and their companions, on May 23 in the West and February 24 in the East. He should not be confused with Montanus of Phrygia, the founder of Montanism.
