Saint Michael Nguyễn Huy Mỹ (Vietnamese: Micae Nguyễn Huy Mỹ) (born c. 1804 in Kẻ Vĩnh, Vietnam – died August 12, 1838, in Bảy Mẫu, Vietnam) was a martyr and a saint of the Catholic Church. Michael Nguyễn Huy Mỹ was born in Kẻ Vĩnh. At the age of 20, he married Maria Mến (Miều), the daughter of Anthony Nguyễn Đích. The couple had eight children. Attempts were made to force him to renounce his faith through persuasion and torture. He was beheaded on August 12, 1838, together with James Đỗ Mai Năm and his father-in-law. His feast day is November 24, as part of the group of the 117 Vietnamese Martyrs. He was beatified on May 27, 1900, by Pope Leo XIII and canonized by Pope John Paul II on June 19, 1988, as one of the 117 Vietnamese Martyrs.
