Marthe Wang Louzhi was a Chinese Christian laywoman, born around 1812, who was executed on July 29, 1861, in Qingyian, near Guiyang, in Guizhou province. Recognized as a Catholic martyr, she was canonized by Pope John Paul II on October 1, 2000.
