Joséphine Marguerite Operti (1871–1949), better known by her religious name Mary of the Angels, was an Italian nun who founded the congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Saint Teresa in 1894. Currently in the process of beatification, she was declared venerable on June 17, 2017, by Pope Francis.
