Saint Mainbeuf d'Angers

Saint Mainbeuf (Magnobodus) was Bishop of Angers from 610 to 660. His feast day is October 16. He had the Church of Saint-Saturnin built in Angers, where he was buried. He also wrote a Vita S. Licinii. He is the patron saint of Villebernier, a commune near Saumur, where the patronal festival is celebrated annually on October 16.
