Biography

Leonien of Vienne is a Roman Catholic and Orthodox saint who was a hermit and abbot in Vienne (Rhône valley). Born in Pannonia (modern-day Hungary) in the 5th century, he lived in Gaul for more than forty years, first in Autun and then in Vienne, where he died and was buried in the 6th century. His feast day is November 13.
