Juliane Kim Yeon-i was a Korean Christian laywoman and martyr who was beheaded on July 2, 1801, in Seoul. Her martyrdom is recognized by the Catholic Church, and she is titled Venerable. She was later beatified by Pope Francis on August 16, 2014. Blessed Juliane Kim Yeon-i is commemorated individually on July 2 and on September 20 with the Martyrs of Korea.
