Biography
Juan Bautista Ferreres Boluda (Ollería, November 28, 1861 – Valencia, December 29, 1936) was a Spanish priest, Jesuit, theologian, moralist, canonist, and university professor. He died in the San Miguel de los Reyes prison, a victim of illness and mistreatment, in the context of the religious persecution unleashed during the Spanish Civil War. He was beatified by Pope Saint John Paul II in 2001.
