Biography

Joseph Medes Ferris (1885–1936) was a Spanish farmer and member of Catholic Action who was murdered during the Spanish Civil War for providing refuge to fleeing members of religious orders. He was beatified alongside other martyrs of the Spanish Civil War in 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
