José Gafo Muñiz (Campomanes, Asturias, 1881 – Madrid, October 4, 1936) was a Spanish Dominican priest, politician, and trade unionist. He is a Christian martyr of the Roman Catholic Church, having been beatified by Pope Benedict XVI on October 28, 2007, after being killed for his religious status. He was murdered during the early months of the Spanish Civil War as a victim of republican repression.
