Jean-Baptiste Loir, in religion Brother Jean-Louis (1720–1794), was a Capuchin priest who died as a martyr on the pontons of Rochefort (Île Madame). He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in Rome on October 1, 1995, along with 63 other French priests and religious.
