Jean-Baptiste François Burté, born on June 21, 1740, in Rambervillers and died on September 2, 1792, in Paris, was a French Franciscan friar and priest. He died as a victim of the September Massacres during the French Revolution. Along with 190 other martyrs, he was beatified on October 17, 1926.
