Biography
Blessed Heilika of Cologne, also known as Heilica or Helga, was a hermit who began living near the Church of St. Andrew in Cologne in the last quarter of the 12th century. She died after 1300 and was buried at the church where she had spent her final years. The name "the saint" was given to her by the people of Cologne because of her hidden and pious life. Her actual name is unknown. Her feast day is January 14, though January 15 and January 16 are also mentioned.
