Biography

William of Neuchâtel is a saint of the Catholic Church from Neuchâtel, who was removed from the proper of saints of the Diocese of Lausanne in the 19th century. He was a canon of the collegiate church of Neuchâtel, and chaplain and chancellor to the Count of Neuchâtel in the first quarter of the 13th century. His cult was vibrant until the Protestant Reformation, but subsequently fell into disuse.
