Saint Guénin de Vannes

Saint Guénin, or Saint Gwennin, was the tenth bishop of the Diocese of Vannes in the 7th century. According to the calendar of Breton saints, his feast day is August 19. He gave his name to the commune of Guénin in Morbihan. A Saint-Guénin chapel (also known as the Saint-Quirin chapel) is located in Brech, but the saint to whom it is dedicated is uncertain: Saint Guénin? Saint Quirin? A Breton saint named Quiry or Kiri?
