Biography

Gabriel de Duisco (executed February 5, 1597, on the hills of Nagasaki) was a Japanese Catholic layman, converted by Gonsalo Garcia, who became a catechist and a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis. He was a victim of the anti-Catholic persecution in Japan and belongs to the group of the first 26 martyrs of Japan.
