Biography

Francisco Remón was a Spanish Franciscan friar who was born on September 22, 1890, in Teruel, Spain. During the Spanish Civil War, he was killed in 1936 in Granollers, along with friars Alfonso Lopez, Modesto Vegas, Dionisio Vicente, Pedro Rivera, and Miguel Remón. In 2001, Pope John Paul II approved his beatification, along with 233 other martyrs.
