Saint Filofteia Antonescu

Filofteia Antonescu (born mid-18th century, Bucharest – died 1833, Pasărea Monastery) was a schema-nun at Pasărea Monastery and the mother of Saint Calinic of Cernica. She was canonized as a saint by the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church during its session on July 1, 2025, under the title Saint Venerable Filofteia of Pasărea, mother of Saint Calinic of Cernica, with her feast day celebrated on April 12.
