Biography
The Martyrs of Abitene were a group of North African Christians put to death in the spring of 304. These martyrs are commemorated on February 12 according to the Roman Martyrology. Based on the discovery of inscriptions on two stones, their martyrdom is believed to have taken place not far from Membressa, modern-day Medjez el-Bab, in Tunisia.
