Saint Eusebius of Antioch
Biography
Eusebius of Antioch was a Greek religious figure from Syria, likely born in Antioch. He was the nephew of Abbot Marinus, who founded the monastery of Corypha between Antioch and Beroea. Upon his uncle's death, he succeeded him as abbot. Due to his austerity, he gained a reputation for holiness and had many disciples. He died at the end of the 4th century. He was succeeded as abbot by Jacob, a disciple of Saint Julian Sabas. The Catholic Church considers him a saint.
