Saint Dionysius of Augsburg

Dionysius of Augsburg (died c. 306), whose life dates and biography are almost entirely unknown, is a saint and martyr of the Roman Catholic Church who is said to have been the first bishop of Augsburg. All accounts are based on traditions and historical fragments. His ecclesiastical feast day is celebrated on February 26, the day of the discovery of his relics.
