Biography

Saint Conogan, also known as Saint Guénoc, is one of the more or less mythical Breton saints not officially recognized by the Catholic Church. He is also known by the names Guennoc, Guénec, Gwinoc, or Vinoc, and even Albin, Albinus being the Latin translation of Gwen, meaning white or sacred. He is said to have been one of the companions of Saint Pol. His feast day is October 16.
