Biography
Clémence of Hohenberg or Clémence of Öhren (died 1176) was a nun and a saint of the Roman Catholic Church. She was beatified and is commemorated on March 21. She was the daughter of Count Adolphe of Hohenberg and the widow of the Count of Spanheim. Immediately after her husband's death, she chose the monastic life and decided to take the veil at the monastery of Oehren near Trier (Rhineland), where she died in March 1176. Her name appears in the 2011 French florist calendar.
