Biography

Quiriacus of Augsburg (died 304, Augsburg) was a martyr who was killed in Augsburg alongside Afra of Augsburg and her mother Hilaria during the Christian persecutions under Diocletian. He is commemorated on August 12. Relics of Quiriacus are kept in the Basilica of St. Ulrich and St. Afra in Augsburg. A companion of Quiriacus is also said to be Dionysius of Augsburg, a brother of Hilaria and uncle of Afra of Augsburg.
