Biography

Cesidio of Fossa (born Angelo Giacomantonio on August 30, 1873, in Fossa, Italy; died July 4, 1900, in Hengchow, Hunan province, China) was an Italian Reformed Franciscan missionary. He was martyred during the Boxer Rebellion and canonized by John Paul II in 2000, along with 119 other martyrs.
