Bonaventura of Saint Catherine (Spanish: Buenaventura de Santa Catalina), born Buenaventura Gavicaechevarría Guerricabeitia (Ajangiz, July 14, 1887 – Alcázar de San Juan, July 26, 1936), was a Spanish priest of the Order of the Most Holy Trinity. He was executed by firing squad by Republicans during the Spanish Civil War and was beatified as a martyr by Pope Francis in 2013.
