Béatrice of Lens (Beatrix) is a blessed, born in Lens, formerly in the County of Hainaut. On October 29, 1216, using the dowry received from her parents, she founded the Cistercian abbey of Épinlieu, near Mons, in present-day Belgium, and entered the abbey herself.
