Biography
Laurent Bai Xiaoman was a Chinese layman born around 1826 in Guizhou province. He converted to Christianity and was killed on February 25, 1856, in Su-Lik-Hien in Guangxi province. The Catholic Church recognizes him as a martyr of the faith. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in Rome on October 1, 2000. His feast day is February 25.
