Biography
Bishop Arsenius (died March 2, 1409, Tver) was a bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church, Bishop of Tver, and author of the oldest recension of the Kiev Caves Patericon (the Arsenian recension). He was canonized by the Macarian Council of 1547 for local veneration as a saint in the rank of hierarch; his feast days are March 2 and July 2 (according to the Julian calendar).
