Biography

Arnoul of Mouzon (born and died at an unknown date in the 8th century) was, according to tradition, an obscure pilgrim who was murdered by brigands, buried, and forgotten. It was the miracles surrounding his tomb and relics that convinced the Church of his sanctity. Legend holds that one of his miracles was the origin of the refounding of the Abbey of Mouzon.
