Biography

Anthony Kim Song-u (Gusan, 1795 – Tangkogae, April 29, 1841) was a Korean Catholic and a martyr for the faith. He was beatified on July 5, 1925, by Pope Pius XI. He was proclaimed a saint by Pope John Paul II in 1984, along with 104 other Korean martyrs, who are commemorated on April 29.
