Biography

Anhun was a 6th-century saint. Anhun was the daughter of Gwrthefyr, granddaughter of Vortigern and Sevira, and great-granddaughter of Saint Elen. Her father died in a rebellion against her grandfather. She founded a church with her sister Madryn near Trawsfynydd. She later married Cynyr of Caer Gawch in northern Pembrokeshire and was the mother of Ina, Gwen of Cornwall, and Saint Non, and the grandmother of Saint David.
