Biography

Amantius of Wintershoven was one of the so-called saints of Wintershoven. He was a deacon who belonged to the companions assigned to Amandus when he presented his plans for missionary work to Pope Martin I around 650. Amantius also performed missionary work in present-day Belgium and France. Amantius died around 668. His feast day is March 19.
