Biography
Agnes Maria Huyn van Amstenrade (Amstenrade, September 14, 1614 – Venlo, July 8, 1641), also known as Countess Agnes Maria Huyn, was the daughter of Werner Huyn and Leyffardt von Lerodt. On November 24, 1626, at the age of 12, she entered the Annunciade convent of Trans-Cedron in Venlo, where she died at the age of 26. There is a statue of her in Venlo, near the Witte Kerk on Agnes Huijnstraat.
